Receptionist

We are seeking a competent, highly organized, and reliable individual to represent our office as a front desk receptionist. The ideal candidate will be able to work part-time during normal business hours. Excellent phone, communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Administer front desk needs
      • Greet clients and connect them with the appropriate person
      • Answer/route incoming telephone calls in a timely manner
      • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
      • Keep inventory of office supplies
      • Keep the kitchen and general office areas clean and well stocked
      • Maintain office printers and copiers
      • Data entry, filing, reproduction, and document formatting

Education and/or Experience Requirements

      • A college degree is preferred, but candidates with experience, energy, and a desire to take on new challenges will be considered
      • Experience in a similar customer-facing role with exceptional customer service skills
      • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
      • Well organized with a polite and positive attitude
      • Catering and meeting coordination

Construction Engineer/Inspector

This opening is for an Engineer or Inspector who will work under the direction of senior engineers to perform construction administration and support for a variety of civil highway transportation projects for agencies such as the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). This position will involve a variety of tasks including: monitoring construction activities, performing daily site inspection, reviewing material quantities, pay applications and submittals, checking for conformance to project requirements and design plans, coordinating project activities and reviewing schedules, preparing project documentation, and maintain communications with the owner.
Our construction administration work is primarily focused on the technology aspects of major highway projects, such as electronic message signs, surveillance cameras, tolling, ramp metering, and fiber systems. Supporting infrastructure includes communications systems: conduit, fiber/splicing, pull boxes, field devices, and related network infrastructure.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

Roadway Engineer

Roadway Engineer

This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly-skilled roadway design professional who wishes to be part of our expanding team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the design of numerous major roadway system improvement projects throughout Colorado for state and local public agencies, and federal public-land roadways.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails.
  • Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects.
  • Assist with design of multidisciplinary traffic and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) projects.
  • Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub consultant coordination.
  • Coordinate and work with a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects.
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Support in the pursuit of projects through qualifications, scope, schedule and fee development.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience in the design of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared use trails.
  • Knowledge and experience with MicroStation, InRoads and/or OpenRoads/Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering.
  • Experience with Colorado DOT (or other state DOT) plan preparation procedures and standards.
  • Experience with Federal Lands Highway plan preparation procedures and standards is a plus.
  • Hydraulics and traffic experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
  • A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our clients’ overall project goals.

Licenses/Registrations

  • Colorado Professional Engineer License or ability to transfer a license from another state.
